This image was
photographed in southern Louisiana on a bitter cold day
in the winter. The saw-grass seemed to extend forever
and I recall how cutting the wind was because there was
nothing to break it's sweep
across these open areas. I used the Mamiya RZ67 with the
Mamiya Sekor 140mm lens (tripod mounted and mirror-up)
to photograph this scene on Kodak Portra 160VC negative
film. The print conveys well the sense of what I felt
and saw as I photographed the scene. |
