Title: Apalach Marine Water Street

  Notes:

This image was photographed in Apalachicola Florida in August of 2006.  This is an old fish processing plant which was constructed out over the water allowing boats to unload the fish just harvested on the dock-side platforms before processing.  This was image was difficult to accomplish because of the perspective problems produced by the many lines on the old building and the extreme variation in light intensity.  Nevertheless, the rich colors and intricate detail seem to work well to accomplish the image I originally visualized.  I used the Mamiya RZ67 with the 50mm ULD lens (tripod mounted and mirror-up) to make the exposure on Kodak Portra 400 VC negative film.
