Notes: |
This image was photographed
mid-afternoon in the fall of 2001 (October) in the Great
Smokey Mountains. I used the Mamiya RZ67 with the 140mm
Mamiya Sekor lens to expose this scene on Kodak Portra 160
NC negative film. The camera was hand held for the
exposure. The mountains appear as rolling waves of
color and they take on a cyan or blue cast at higher
altitudes or in the distance. I am at a complete loss to try to put into
words the beauty of this area in the fall. Therefore,
I will simply let the image speak for itself which it does
quite eloquently. Soli Deo Gloria. |
