This image was
photographed in late October on a cold overcast morning.
I used the Mamiya RZ67 Pro II with the Mamiya Sekor 50mm
lens (tripod mounted and mirror-up) to expose this scene
on Kodak Portra 160VC negative film. This entire region
becomes richly accented with splotches of brilliant
color during this time and in my mind provokes the idea
of an oil painting with brilliantly colored brush
strokes. |
