This old church is
located in Alabama and I am sure with respect to its
long life could tell a sobering story if it could only
speak. I photographed this image using the Mamiya RZ67
with the 140mm Mamiya Sekor lens on Kodak Portra 160VC
negative film. This is a powerful place and one seems as
if he has stepped back in time when visiting here. This
is one of those scenes which affords
glimpses into the history of the region which is fast
disappearing from the deep south. The image speaks
profoundly. |
