This image was
photographed near Gatlinburg Tennessee in the summer in
the predawn hours. Light had just begun to
illuminate this great valley between the mountains with
a special light only found in the early morning hours.
I used the Toyo 4x5 GX
view camera with the Schneider 72mm Super Angulon XL to
expose this scene on Kodak Portra 160VC sheet film.
