This
image was photographed just after the break of day using
the Mamiya RZ67 Pro II with the Mamiya Sekor 500 mm lens
(tripod mounted and mirror-up) on Kodak Portra 400VC
negative film. This is one of those subjects which one
finds only at a specific moment under unique
circumstances and is transient at best. The intricate
detail in the web is accentuated by the morning dew
which has condensed on each strand of the webbing. Indeed, these
are those subjects which possess what I like to term
simple elegance. |
