Title:

Early Spring on Lewis River

Notes:

This image was photographed in the region between the Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park north of Jackson Lake on the Lewis River. I used the Mamiya RZ67 with the 50mm ULD wide angle lens (tripod mounted and mirror up) to expose this scene on Kodak Portra 160 VC negative film. This is to say the least a beautiful region. However, it is sad in a way due to the fact that the effect of the great fire of 1988 can be seen in the distant trees. Nevertheless this is still a majestic place possessing immense scale and beauty.
