This image was
photographed in the region between the Grand Teton
National Park and Yellowstone National Park north of
Jackson Lake on the
Lewis River. I used the
Mamiya RZ67 with the 50mm ULD wide angle lens (tripod
mounted and mirror up) to expose this scene on Kodak
Portra 160 VC negative film. This is to say the least a
beautiful region. However, it is sad in a way due to the
fact that the effect of the great fire of 1988 can be
seen in the distant trees. Nevertheless this is still a
majestic place possessing immense scale and beauty. |
