This scene was
photographed in and area of the Great Smokey Mountain
National Park called the Tremont region. The stream is
the Middle Prong of Little River. I used the Toyo 4x5 GX
view Camera with the Schneider 72mm Super Angulon XL to
expose this image on Kodak Portra 160VC sheet film. The
view camera captured all the intricate detail which
seems to give a sense of "being there" to this print.
This special ambience makes all the extended time
required to set up this exposure worth while. |
