This image was photographed on an
overcast afternoon August 26, 2000 in the Kolob Wilderness
region of Zion Canyon National Park. I used the Mamiya RZ67
with the Mamiya Sekor 50mm ULD wide angle lens and exposed
the image on Fuji Velvia transparency film (ISO 50).
This was an amazing scene. You could see forever and
snow was sprinkled on the great mountain like powdered
sugar. There were snow flurries when I was making the
exposure and the wind was
quite
stiff. This is a large place. |
