It almost feel as if I am an intruder to photograph this renowned peak or for that matter any other image in Yosemite because it is as if the entire place belongs to Ansel Adams.  He invested much of his life to creating remarkable compositions which have been embossed upon the minds of most Americans.  However, the beauty of photography is that no two individuals see the same scene in the same way and both may produce remarkably different compositions and both be uniquely rewarding.   This photographer’s goal is to be in the right place at the right time to capture that one unique moment in time which the artist or viewer may never see again.   This is such a print.  The image was photographed with the Toyo 4x5 GX view camera with the APO-Symmar 240 mm f/5.6 lens on Kodak Portra 160 VC sheet film.
