This scene was
photographed early on an overcast morning in the Great
Smokey Mountain National Park near Gatlinburg Tennessee.
There are no words adequate to describe the rich colors,
brilliant hues, unique tonal ranges and eastern hardwood
ambience which make up this region. The print conveys
much but one has to feel the moist mist of early morning
to truly understand the captivating beauty of this
region. The scene was photographed with the Toyo GX 4x5
view camera with the Schneider 240mm f/5.6 APO-Symmar
lens on Kodak Portra 160VC negative film. |
