Title:  Haunting Morning

  Notes:

This print was photographed early on a foggy overcast morning in the Eufaula Wildlife Refuge in Alabama.  Fog in a landscape tends to hide some aspects in the scene and isolate and therefore emphasize others.  It seems to impose a unique mood in a composition often imparting a surreal sense.  I had set up in this spot before day to watch for first light.  This scene presented itself shortly after the sun had risen.  I used the Mamiya RZ67 with the 50mm ULD lens (tripod mounted and mirror-up) to expose the scene on Kodak Portra 160 VC negative film.
