I found this detailed
composition by the edge of a stream in the Smokey Mountains.
It was an over cast fall day and I used the RZ-67 with the
Mamiya 140mm Macro lens to expose this scene on Kodak Portra
160VC film. For me this is a reminder to look down as
you go since I almost stepped on this composition before
it caught my attention. It makes me wonder how many I
haven't
stopped for and suffered loss due to my haste. There
is another intricately beautiful macro world which is well
worth examining if we only take the time. These
small details convey a sense of simple elegance which defies
words.
