This image was
photographed in the Greenbrier region on the Great
Smokey Mountains on a very cold winter afternoon.
I was almost dusk and the parts of the mountain stream
not moving were either frozen or in the process of
beginning to freeze. As the light would break
through in areas and reflect in the ice which rimmed the
stream it looked as if it were strung with jewelry.
I used the Mamiya RZ67 with the Mamiya Sekor 140mm Macro
lens to expose the scene on Kodak Portra 400VC negative
film. |
