This image was photographed
in Yellowstone National Park. These hot springs
produce an otherworldly sense in the print. I used the
Mamiya RZ67 with the Mamiya Sekor 50mm ULD lens (tripod mounted and
mirror up) to expose this on Kodak Portra 160 VC negative
film. The lone tree standing in the mist combined with
the detail in the foreground as seen through the vapor make
this captivating print. I can only imagine what those
first explorers thought as they discovered this place. A most
beautiful and unusual site ...
