Notes: |
I photographed this scene
when the full moon was setting over the Tetons May 26, 2002.
I arrived at the spot which I had selected the preceding day
before dawn. While setting up my equipment in the dark
I encountered a moose and a coyote both of whom seemed
interested in what I was doing there. This image was
captured just as the sun had begun to lighten the opposite
horizon and accounts for the unique light and color hues in the print.
I used the Mamiya RZ-67 with the 500mm APO telephoto lens
(tripod mounted and mirror up) to expose this scene on Kodak
Portra 400 VC negative film. A haunting and beautiful
place. Soli Deo Gloria ...
