This image was photographed
in spring of 2005 in Yosemite National Park early in the
morning. There had been much rain and everything was
lush green and all the low areas and streams were full of water. I
used the Mamiya RZ67 with the Mamiya Sekor 140mm lens to
capture this image on Kodak Portra 160VC negative film.
This meadow possesses an ever changing beauty especially in
the early morning and late afternoon hours. It is easy
to understand why it is so often the subject of photographic
compositions.
