If ever there was a
dream-like scene this was it. The image was photographed
early in the morning on Porter's Creek in the Great
Smokey Mountain National Park. I used the Mamiya RZ67
Pro II with the Mamiya Sekor 50mm lens (tripod mounted
and mirror-up) to expose this scene on Kodak Portra
160VC negative film. I seem to never tire of returning
to this region and discovering new compositions in
places newly found. I often wonder how many of these
scenes are revealed each morning at sunrise that no one
ever sees ... |
