This image was photographed
on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon in the late afternoon
from Imperial Point. This is a rugged landscape of
deep canyons and peaks of which Mount
Haden is the most prominent. I used the Mamiya RZ67
with the Mamiya Sekor 50mm wide angle lens to expose this
scene on Kodak Portra 160VC negative film. This place
seems to possess a majesty which defies verbal description.
