This image was
photographed in the Grand Teton National Park in May of
2002 using the Mamiya RZ67 with the Mamiya Sekor APO
500mm telephoto lens (tripod mounted and mirror-up) on
Kodak Portra 160VC negative film. With the Snake River
in the foreground and the compressive effect of the
telephoto lens Mount Moran conveys a sense of imposing
power and scale in this composition. Oxbow Bend on the
Snake River is indeed an Awe Inspiring place. Soli Deo
