Title:

Mount Moran from Oxbow Bend

Notes:

This image was photographed in the Grand Teton National Park in May of 2002 using the Mamiya RZ67 with the Mamiya Sekor APO 500mm telephoto lens (tripod mounted and mirror-up) on Kodak Portra 160VC negative film. With the Snake River in the foreground and the compressive effect of the telephoto lens Mount Moran conveys a sense of imposing power and scale in this composition. Oxbow Bend on the Snake River is indeed an Awe Inspiring place. Soli Deo Gloria
