This photograph was made
on a bright day with a strong breeze using the Mamiya RZ-67
with the Mamiya Sekor 50mm ULD wide angle lens (mirror up,
tripod mounted) on Kodak Portra 160NC negative film.
The sun was almost directly behind me which contributed to
what I would characterize as an unusually saturated image
(i.e. color, contrast and texture). Every time I view
this print I am impressed with the sense of strength and
boldness conveyed by this shore line of stone and the
powerful Atlantic with it's unceasing wind. Indeed a
remarkably beautiful place. |
