This image was photographed under a group of magnolia trees.  I used the  Mamiya RZ 67 with the 140mm macro lens (tripod mounted and mirror up) to expose this scene on Kodak Portra 160 VC negative film.  There is an intricate interplay of texture, shadow play and detail which combine beautifully in this print.   This is another of those prints which so often refer to as simple elegance ...  and indeed it is.  Soli Deo Gloria
