This is an image which I
photographed long ago in Ashville North Carolina.
I used a Mamiya RB67 with the 360mm lens to expose this
image on Kodak VPS 160 negative film. This is one
of those compositions which I saw and framed the image
in my mind; I then framed it in the view finder and made
the exposure. The print has always been a favorite
with me but until only recently I did not have the
ability to print it with faithful color rendition and
saturation. However, I believe this print now
faithfully reproduces what I saw in the view finder on
that day. Simple but nevertheless beautiful...
