These vignettes of life
as it once was in the old south tell much about the
history of a place of which we now only have dim and
fading reminders. Pittsview is a very small town in east
central Alabama where such vignettes are still evident.
I used the Mamiya RZ67 Pro II with the Mamiya Sekor
140mm lens (tripod mounted and mirror-up) to expose this
scene on Kodak Portra 160VC negative film. This image
was photographed in the summer of 2004. |
