I photographed this image the
afternoon of July 13, 2001 in front of an old deserted store
in Society Hill, Alabama. I used the Toyo 4x5 View Camera
with the Schneider 240 APO-Symmar f/5.6 lens with a lot of bellows
extension to capture this image. The film used was Kodak
Portra 160 VC negative film. The palpable detail is the
result of the large 4x5 negative. I've photographed this old store
front several times but I am still very prone to stop here
when I pass this way. A special and unique place. |
