This image was
photographed in the morning hours along the Big Sur
coast in California.
The day was hazy and overcast which softened the contrast and allowed
color hues not normally seen to become visible.
I was impressed with how quickly conditions could change and
how dramatically the change affected the mood or ambience of
a given composition. I used the Mamiya RZ67 with the Mamiya Sekor 50mm wide angle
lens to expose this image on Kodak Portra 400VC negative
film. |
