| Title: | Pacific Cliffs at Twilight, Cape Meares, Oregon | ||
| Notes: |
This print was photographed on the northern coast of Oregon on Cape Meares near the Cape Meares Lighthouse. It was very late in the afternoon and the warm colors of twilight had begun to manifest themselves in the scene. One of the most striking characteristics along these coastal regions is the forests which come down to the very edge of the cliffs overlooking the Pacific. This seems to make a critically important contribution to this composition. There was a quiet majestic beauty about this place which I can not convey with words. However, the print express well what I saw there on Cape Meares. I used the Mamiya RZ67 with the 50mm ULD lens (tripod mounted and mirror-up) to expose this image on Kodak Portra 400 VC negative film. |
