This
image was photographed on the Coast of California south of
Monterey Bay in the spring of 2005. On the day I
photographed this image I could hear seals barking from the
ocean. I was impressed by how rapidly light conditions
and weather could change in this region. I stood and
watched a cloud move in from off the coast and completely
enshroud a section of the coast. And in a few minutes
it may well lift and disappear revealing open sunshine. I used the Mamiya RZ67 with the Mamiya Sekor
50mm wide angle lens to expose the scene on Kodak Portra
160VC negative film. |
