This image was
photographed on Apalachicola Bay near Port Saint Joe
Florida where shrimp fishing is a major part of the
economy. This saw grass borders the bay and fills most
of the low lying areas. It often forms a substantial
part of landscapes and seascapes make in this region. I
used the Mamiya RZ67 Pro II with the Mamiya Sekor 50mm
lens (tripod mounted and mirror-up) to expose this scene
on Kodak Portra 160VC negative film. This is a haunting
and beautiful place especially early in the morning and
late towards dusk. |
