This image was photographed
Just after day break on the Chattahoochee River In Alabama.
I used the Mamiya RZ67 Pro II with the Mamiya Sekor 50mm
f/4.5 lens and made the exposure at f/32 (tripod mounted and
mirror up) on Kodak Portra 160VC negative film. There
is a muted beauty in the fog which defies my ability to
describe with words. The entire world seems to be
imbued with an almost surreal sense and it is quite an
exceptional place to watch the birth of a new day. I
believe this print captures the sense of the place quite
well. Soli Deo Gloria |
