This image was
photographed shortly after day break on a winter day. I
used the Mamiya RZ67 with the Mamiya Sekor 50mm lens
(tripod mounted and mirror-up) to expose this scene on
Kodak Portra 160VC negative film. Due to the early hour
the wind was non-existent and the lake surface was like
a mirror. I recall rushing to set up and make the
exposure because these situations change quickly as the
sun rises. I was fortunate to capture the scene before
it vanished a few moments later. |
