Title:	Resplendent Silhouette
	Notes:	I photographed this image about four o'clock in the afternoon using the Mamiya RZ67 Pro II with the Mamiya Sekor 140mm lens (tripod mounted and mirror-up) on Kodak Portra 160VC negative film.  I had studied this scene for several days and found that late in the afternoon the sun was positioned in such a way that it shown down between the mountains and backlit this huge hardwood leaving both the area in front of and the area behind the hardwood in the shadows.  The blue cast of the shadows contrasts with the warm colors in the autumn foliage to give this scene a truly unique lighting quality.  This image was photographed in the Great Smokey Mountain National Park
