Title:

Rio Grand Gorge

Notes:

I photographed this gorge in New Mexico using the Mamiya RZ67 with the Mamiya Sekor 50mm lens (tripod mounted and mirror-up) on Kodak 160NC negative film. Like so many other areas in the west the horizon seems to be forever in the distance. However, at this place the landscape is literally split down the middle by the great Gorge of the Rio Grand. As this composition illustrates it is an unforgettable place and again one which makes one feel exceedingly small.
