River Birch in the Fog

Notes:

This image was photographed in a swamp in Alabama just after the break of day in early spring.  I used the Mamiya RZ67 Pro II with the Mamiya Sekor 140mm f/4.5 lens to record this image on Kodak Portra 160VC negative film.  The fog gives this place an almost surreal character and tends to provoke a sober yet reflective spirit which is difficult to express in words.
