This image was photographed early
afternoon in rural Georgia. The sun was to my back and
quite intense producing the strong shadows and high
contrast. I used the Mamiya RZ-67 and the 140mm Mamiya
Sekor lens (tripod mounted, mirror up, and cable release) to
expose this scene on Kodak Portra 160NC negative film.
This is an unusual scene but as I recall it was quite
imposing. It certainly provokes a number of
reflections and thoughts. A uniquely beautiful place
indeed. |
