This image was photographed late
one afternoon in the Boothbay region of Maine. I have
sensed that it is in these twilight periods when I find that
some of the most rewarding exposures are made albeit with
some degree of difficulty. I used
the Mamiya RZ67 with the 140mm lens and braced the camera
on a cross member of a boat house to make the long exposure on Kodak Portra
160 NC negative film. The fog obscured the skyline and
the boat seemed suspended there. A uniquely beautiful
scene indeed. |
