This image was
photographed in Yellowstone using a Mamiya RZ67 with the 140
mm lens on Kodak Portra 160VC negative film. It was an over
cast day and it is an understatement to say the place
conveys a sense of being surreal. I have read that
Yellowstone is a potential volcano and this is one of the
places in the park where that statement is certainly born
out. I recall that as I studied this place I pondered
how the early explorers would have conveyed with pen and
paper what they saw here to folks back home. |
