This image was
photographed on a winter morning just prior to the break of
day using the Mamiya RZ67 with the 50mm ULD lens (tripod
mounted, mirror-up with a cable release) to expose the scene
on Kodak Portra 160 VC negative film. In the winter in
this region the water fowl begin to sound off at the first
hint of light and this morning was no exception. The
spot exhibits a mystical almost haunting sort of beauty.
A wonderful place to watch a new day born. Soli Deo
