This scene was photographed
late one afternoon on Yellowstone Lake. I used the
RZ-67 with the 50mm ULD wide angle lens (tripod mounted
mirror up) to expose this image on Kodak Portra 400 VC
negative film. I noticed this scene as I returned to
the Lodge after a day of shooting. The sky was
changing quickly and I had to set up and compose the shots
in rapid succession to avoid missing the unique detail in
the storm clouds and the bright sky behind being mirrored in
the lake. I feel very fortunate to have been able to
capture this scene. The print says it all ...
