This image was
photographed late one summer afternoon on Turkey Creek
in Central Georgia using the Toyo GX 4x5 View Camera
with the Schneider 72mm Super Angulon XL lens (with
center filter) on Kodak Portra 160VC 4x5 sheet film.
This is a beautiful place and I have spent much time
here photographing this stream in all seasons. However,
in warm weather one must take care because there are
numerous large Cotton Mouths who reside here and call
this home. An old grist mill called Smith's Mill
is located up on the bank above the stream. It is no
longer functional but serves as a reminder that this was
once an active and prosperous place. |
