This image was photographed
in the
fall of 2001 on a cool clear day in the Great Smokey
Mountain National Park. I used the Mamiya RZ-67 with
the Sekor 140mm Macro lens (tripod mounted and mirror up) to
expose the image on Kodak Portra 400 NC film. I recall
that I was anxious to capture the reflection of the clouds
which was present on the surface of the stream. I also
remember being impressed with how cold and clear that
mountain stream was as I made this exposure. This
print conveys some of the unique ambience of this beautiful
place and time of year. |
