This image was
photographed with the Mamiya RZ67 Pro II using the
Mamiya Sekor 50mm ULD lens (tripod mounted, mirror-up
and with cable release) on Kodak Portra 160VC film. The
image is shot across the Abyss, which drops for a shear
3000 feet, from the rim trail near Mohave Point. There
are an infinite number of aspects related to this print
and I could not even attempt to describe them all but to
me the interplay of soft morning light among the cliffs
and lesser canyons below makes this image special in my
view. |
