This
image was photographed in the Great Smokey Mountain National
Park in Late fall. It was photographed by a
mountain stream using the Mamiya RZ67 with the Mamiya Sekor
140mm Macro lens (tripod mounted and mirror-up) on Kodak
Portra 160VC negative film. I recall that when I made
this exposure the light was so dim I had difficulty
focusing. I have found that it is in the most unusual places
and under the most trying circumstances
that I find some of the most rewarding compositions.
Compositions which I often refer to as examples of "simple
elegance". |
