This old truck was
photographed late on warm summer afternoon in Marvin
Alabama where it was parked out beside an old barn.
Marvin is a small, quiet rural community in east
Alabama. It seems to me that there is an unspoken
dignity related to old veterans like this which have
served valiantly and now stand in silence. I
photographed the old fire engine with the Mamiya RZ67 using Mamiya Sekor 500mm APO lens
(mirror up) mounted on a tripod. The image was exposed
on Kodak Portra 160VC negative film. |
