| Title: | Tree in Fog | ||
| Notes: |
This image was photographed on the Eufaula Wildlife Refuge on the Chattahoochee River in Alabama on February 20 of 2003. I was there before day in order to photograph early morning landscapes with fog when the sun arose. Fog lends a dramatic element to any composition and especially early in the morning. This image was photographed that morning and the stark tree against the fog is an excellent example of how it isolates and emphasizes a subject. The print was photographed using the Mamiya RZ67 with the 50mm ULD lens (tripod mounted and mirror-up) to expose the scene on Kodak Portra 160 VC negative film. |
