Notes: |
This exposure was made
mid-day close to the east gate of Zion Canyon. I
used the Toyo GX 4x5 View Camera with the Schneider 72mm
Super Angulon lens and a center filter mounted on a
recessed lens board. I exposed the image on Fuji
Velvia transparency film. It appears as if you are
on the surface of the moon or mars. The rock looks
like batter being poured into a cake pan in ribbons so
to speak but it has frozen. Indeed, it is
beautifully surreal. |
