This image was
photographed on a cold winter day after a storm had
passed through the previous day. I used the Mamiya RZ67
with the Mamiya Sekor 50mm lens (tripod mounted and
mirror-up) to expose this scene on Kodak Portra 160VC
negative film. This is a favorite spot for me and I
believe the reason is that the textures in the sand, the
shadow play of the light on the slat fences and the
dramatic effects produced by the late afternoon sun
light combine to form spell binding landscapes. |
