This image was photographed
on an overcast day in Columbus Georgia in an industrial
region. I used the Toyo 4x5 GX view camera with the
Schneider 240 APO-Symmar f/5.6 lens to expose this scene on Kodak
Portra 160VC negative film. The image was difficult to
scan and even more difficult to print but the tonal range is
extreme and the image detail is excellent. This is an
unusual composition and I seem to like it even more as I
continue to view the print. |
