This image was photographed
on the Chattahoochee
River at the break of day in winter of 2004. I used
the Mamiya RZ67 with the Mamiya Sekor 50mm wide angle lens,
tripod mounted and mirror-up, to expose this scene on Kodak
Portra 160VC negative film. I recall that it was very
cold and the sound of ducks and other water fowl filled the
air as I set up for this composition. I made several
long exposures over approximately two hours as the sun rose
in the sky. This particular exposure proved best in my
judgment. |
